Dining

Since one of my friend cum client always bring me to dine in some nice restaurants. So I decide to cook a dinner for his family. I was telling my friend that I can cook several dishes but my this so called good friend and good brother do not believe I can cook. He even ask me do da pau dishes from restaurant.

Before the dinner night, I already went to pasar one day early and starting to prepare the dishes. Since I also know my friend's parents so they are my guests also. There was 8 dishes being served that day.

I give a name to each of the 8 dishes as below,

1) Arrival of five happiness
2) Old Coconut Chicken Soup
3) A Flower on Gobong
4) Dong Po Meat & Bun
5) Cooking God Fried Rice
6) Every Month Got Balance
7) A Bucket of Golden Nugget
8) Golden Mango Grapefruit Creammy Dessert

Just hope my guest enjoy the dishes. But I can see my best friend's eyes opened so big and round when I served the first dish. And my friend's mother(Auntie) even help me to mop my house after the dinner and chit chat with my mum till 11.30pm just like they are old friend but in fact they are first met......

Dining...... a process of getting excited(during invitation), getting tired(during preparation), getting enjoyment(during eating), getting relax( during joking and laughing), getting release(during guests leaving).......

Bad News and Good News

Monday morning my phone was ringing and I checked on my phone screen. I wondered why my this client call me so early and so I answered the call. The voice in the call is not my client but a guy sound.

The guy is my client's brother-in-law and he told me that his sister-in-law met an accident. My client was badly injured in the accident according to his brother-in-law. She was skidded under a lorry and need Bomba assistance to move my client out. My client was lost one hand and the backbone was badly injured and in critical stage for the whole day.

I told my client family not to worry about surgical fee but just hope and pray hard that my client can undergo the critical stage. I dont know how to describe my feeling because I just meet my client few days ago. I am thinking to give her a KFC voucher for birthday since she was nice to me since we know each other although she is a Malay girl. She is a happy go lucky girl and always share some gossips and joke to me.

I visited my client today and she was lying on the bed. The lower part of her body was paralysed and both legs wrapped by cement. She was sleeping and suffering. According to her family she still have to undergo few operations.

Just hope my client will be better soon...... so she can call me Ah Tian and joke to me again.

Happy Birthday

One day my client called me and say congratulation to me, I am shocked and asked her why congratulated me. She told me that her daughter is pregnant for 4 months and soon I will get new business. I also congratulated her back as she will become grandma.

So I went to bookstore and browsed around at Parenting Corner and managed to find this informative pregnancy guide book. This book named "Happy Birthday" and contains a VCD that records a labour process. By giving this book to my client, she was so thankful and text me to say thank you.

Because my client is English-educated and unable to read Chinese, if not there is another Chinese pregnancy guidebook is also perfect for mother-to-be.

Anyway just hope she have a " Happy Birthday "......in coming big day

Some Guideline From Books.

That day accidentally met my friend at Cafe, I dont know how is his feeling but I know he is facing a kind of situation that only he know. Maybe I should not give commend on that night.

Anyway I know my friend will not see my blog, jusy simply tag some books that I think is worthwhile to read...... Of cos practice is better than reading

Mango

After planted the mango tree more than one year, the fruit of hard work is waiting to be pluck. The mango tree is only three feets tall when I newly bought but now the tree is higher than me. By keep on adding nutritious and fertile soil to the tree, the mango tree growing up and strong day by day.

I can imagine Golden Mango Sago Pamelo dessert is waiting me.....

Corn @ Jagung Susu

These is the Jagung Susu planted by my Mum. She just bought the corn seed from a Malay guy from pasar. She planted it and I almost help her to water the corn everyday. I also put some fertile soil to the corn plant.

Planting a corn is just like a waiting process. Waiting it to be grow up, waiting the bees come and pollinates, waiting it grow out as a shape of corn,waiting the corn to be harvest......

Life is waiting......

A creature stay in my Durian tree!

I just like this little creature. This little creature did not scare me even I stand one meter near to it. Maybe animal have instinct to differentiate wheather who is a treat or dangerous to them. Of cos I cant say I am very kind but at least I can say loudly I am not a dangerous one !!! Hope this creature enjoy it's life at my durian tree.

Little Rose or 蔷薇 Garden

After one month time of proper taking care of my rose garden. There is one of many branches that i planted finally successfully blooming a rose or I called it as Qiang Wei in mandarin.

This and only blooming rose give out a nice fragrance. I planted ten branches and only one branch is successfully grow up as a smiling rose to me. Other branches were withered and I also dont know why as I water the plants everyday.

I just hope one day my roses can grow healthier and stronger so I can pluck the flower and send to the one I love....
