Golden Almond Fragrant Fried Crab 杏香黄金蟹

My friend from Brunei told me that she had eaten a really big crab or giant crab around 3.5kg before in one of the beach around the world. So I was curious how the Giant Crab was cooked with or what is the method the chef cooked the Giant Crab. My friend said it was cooked with white sauce but got almond fragrance inside. I was wondered how that Giant Crab taste like? 

Then I invited my friend to my house and cooked some dishes to her since she was craving with delicious food around the world. I never told my guest that I am going to cook crabs in my menu. One of the dishes I planed is the crab. I went to one of the famous fish market in KL and managed to find big crab but not yet Giant size. The three crabs cost me around RM230++ and around 3kg as each of the live crab is around 1kg++

I brought my nieces to the market so they can open their big eyes on the variety of ocean fishes and also fresh water fishes. The market also sell frozen Empurau, Giant fresh water prawn（大头虾）and variety of Ocean Fishes like Parrot Fish, Groupers, Undersea Chicken, Ikan Nyok-nyok, Tiger prawn, Big White prawn(明虾），Promfret in many sizes and etc. I think easily more than 50 types of fishes and some I never eat before. I also bought 1kg ++ Big White Prawn that cost me around RM80++ 

So I put the live crabs in the ice box and put a little ice so the crabs won’t be heated in my car. When my mother asked me how much the crabs cost - I just told her that it only cost less than RM100. Because I know my mum won’t accept the price that I paid for the three big crabs. Sometimes I had to lied to my mum cause she still live in her era with the crabs is around 15 or 25 ringgit per kilo. Have to tell beautiful lie so my mum can enjoy the crabs and won’t feel the pain of high price. I left the task of slaughtering the crabs to my mum and my nieces all helping washing the crab one hour before my guest come to my house. 

So I search in YouTube that one of the famous Taiwan chef teaching how to cook white sauce for Lobster and I decide to use his recipe and modify a bit and add one more ingredient to cook the crabs. The ingredient I add is the almond powder. Which is I roast the almond that leftover from doing five nuts mooncake, and then blend the almond into powder like doing a peach pie. The almond powder was set aside for use later.

In order to have the golden colour feel, so I use the butter to cook the flour. My guess was arrived at the time I cooked this Golden Crab so she insist me to add in cheddar cheese. So before put in the fried crabs into the white sauce, my friend keep on asking me to put more almond powder into the white sauce. The white sauce become thicker and can stick to every part of the crabs. I also prepare the mini mantou bought from the market so can dip the mantou with the white sauce. But the kids eat a lot of the mini Pandan and chocolate mantou that I steamed and shallow fried. 

When everyone was eating the crabs, they like the taste and they feel the new flavour that I cooked with the almond powder. My guest said that is almost the taste when she ate the Giant Crab before. I don’t know whether she want to say nice thing to make me happy or is really what she taste before. Anyway that is a new try on cooking the crab, my mother thought that I will cook the chilli tomotoes crabs which she always cook that flavour to us when we had chance to eat crabs. 

Anyway I just only ate one lower part leg below the big claw, I was enjoying see my guest and family members to enjoy the white sauce crabs that I cooked. There was no single crab legs left in the plate. I know the white sauce is really perfect match for the crabs. Maybe next time I should try to cook lobster instead of crabs.

Sour Sop @ Durian Belanda @ 红毛榴莲

I can’t remember since when I started to plant Sour Sop, because I can’t see any photo of Sour Sop in my previous blog. Probably the Sour Sop Tree already five years old, if not mistaken the plant of Sour Sop quite difficult to get from ordinary nursery. I think I had to order the plant online. Anyway I planted this tree before because I heard that this Sour Sop Fruit is good for cancer illnesses. 

Anyway my client told me to use the leaves of Sour Sop Tree to boil with water around 15 minutes and the water is full of substance that can fight or prevent carcinogens tissue in our body. 

After few years the Sour Sop Tree starting bearing fruit. It is happy and see the fruit grow bigger and bigger day by day. I have no idea when can pluck the fruit to enjoy it. Anyway just leave it to my mother to decide since she is very free at home. 

Living Stone & Venus Flytrap

Few weeks ago my friend and I went to visit MAHA - Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism . MAHA is an event that chartered for entrepreneurs that engaged in the businesses related to Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism so that they can promote and showcase their business to public and visitors around the world.

We walked around from 11am to 4pm, my friend was looking for some business ideas so she can bring into Brunei. When we walked to this booth that selling plants that is using technology from Japan. All the products was from Toyota Suntory Midorie - you can imagine that Toyota the largest car maker in Japan and the leading producer of Japanese Whisky joint venture into develop the greenary planting. By the way Midorie means Green in Japanese language. 

The best thing is not the plants that they sell but is the pot designs and soil mediums for the plants to survive. My friend insist to buy me the flytrap and ask me to take care of it. I was so curious regarding the Living Stone. From the name itself already attracted my attention - a stone that can living? Plus I was told that Living Stone actually will flower when you take good care of it. I was curious about the Living Stone blooming flower and I decide to buy one so the flytrap got a companion. 

By the way, the soil medium is the latest technology that is look like sponge that contain pit soil or volcanos soil. The soil named as Pafcal is clean and eco-friendly kind of planting technology that can reusable for 10 years. The very important factor in my mind is that Pafcal contain no bacteria and do not attract bugs. That is a very important factor to consider because I planned to have these two plants  put on my working desk in my room. 

Anyway since my working desk is close to window, the Venus Flytrap and Living Stone managed to have Sun bath in the morning from 8am to 12pm. Hopefully they will grow better and one day flowering ......

海底鸡 or Ayam Laut or Chicken in the sea

I get known of this 海底鸡 or Ayam Laut or Chicken in the sea from one of my friend from Sarawak. My friend mentioned this fish few times and told me that this fish is delicious. I always thought of another fish called 大眼鸡 or Ikan Nyok-Nyok. These 大眼鸡 or Ikan Nyok-Nyok always use for grilled fish in hawker centre. Usually the stall will oil grill or pan fry the 大眼鸡 with chillies sambal and few vegetables like lady fingers, long beans, petai and four season peas. The texture of 大眼鸡 is like soft and tender chicken.

When I saw this 海底鸡 in the market, I bought it and search on Youtube on how people cook it. The best way to eat fish is to steam the fish so you can eat the original taste of the fish. I just chopped some garlic and sliced the gingers and fried these ingredient until golden colour and crispy. The steamed fish sauce also learn from Youtube. I actually steamed the fish in 7 minutes because the Youtuber is steam his whole fish by 8 minutes.

Regarding the texture of 海底鸡, I just can say the texture is firm and like deep sea fish. Maybe I had oversteam the fish since the 海底鸡 already in slices. I should steam around 5 minutes since my house new stove can produce very big fire. The skin of 海底鸡 is quite thick and a little bit like giant grouper and full of collagen.

A little complain from my family is that the fish is a bit firm and hard as I was oversteamed the fish. Anyway good to know the fish 海底鸡 that I never heard and eat before. 

自来狗

This dog come to my house by itself. He already become our family member since last month. We named him as 小白 or Whikey. Most our companion dogs name after their skin colour. Like the our own dog named as Brownie or 小褐.

小白 actually is an abandoned dog by his owner near our neighbourhood. He actually went to my neighbour backyard. We saw him so thin and scare of people and try to feed him with some food. He slowly become brave enough to come nearer to my house. He probably hit by his previous owner. After few days feeding, 小白 already don't want to leave my backyard and go back to his house. He rather stayed with our Brownie day and night. Our Brownie from that day onward have another companion in the backyard. 

小白 actually is a very smart dog. He always seem understand our instructions. And he learn very fast from our Brownie. He can sit and shake hand and even sleep down when instruction was given. And he always shake his tail very passionately. Probably he know he must put more effort so he can get attention and also keep staying with us.

小白 always protect my mother at the backyard when my mother doing her planting at the garden. He always will walk close to me in order to get caress from me. He will bark jealously when I stroke my Brownie.

Anyway 小白 always get fair and lovely attention from our family because he seems like a very understanding and passionate dog. Once in a while I like to pamper my two dogs with roti kaya butter, Julie's cookies and sausages. Althought I know these actions are not good and healthy for dogs,  but my two lovely dogs enjoy it very much !

A Nice Old Man!

Lately just read The Star Business News and noticed this uncle and we can called him old man. Because he is really old and age of 83 and still actively blogging and doing charity.

When I read his blog, I quite excited and thinking of follow his footstep. His name is Koon Yew Yin. He is a entrepreneur, investor, charity initiator, political commentator etc.

S.M.A.R.T Goal and SWOT analysis

Today is the start of next half year of 2015. I was attending a morning meeting today. The discussion for today morning meeting today is "Are you ready for next half battle"?

Everyone is check back the S.M.A.R.T goals. The goal set by each other must be specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, and time bound.

My personal goal this year is to earn RM 100,000. So my goal is specific at earning RM 100,000. And this goal is measurable which is RM 100,000. Of cos this goal is achievable because this is a exact figure. Results focus mean I need to try all means to make sure I earn RM 100,000 this year. The time frame to achieve this goal is one year period.

So what is your S.M.A.R.T goal ?  It may not necessary a figure but you must write it out... So you can always stick to your goal.

Another important Analysis is SWOT analysis. 

You got to know your Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats.

My strength is friendly to people.

Weakness is need to be more hardworking.

Opportunities is there is plenty of financial products to offer to Mass market.

Threats is not too focus on one financial products and this will easily out of the track on my core business.

SWOT analysis can make you understand who you are and what is the preparation and effort you have to put in in order not too be left behind on daily work challenge. The SWOT analysis can actually can apply to a lot of sector like share pick, company analysis, etc.

Putrajaya and Cyberjaya Half Day Trip

The mid-term school holiday is starting and my sister brought her kids and stay at my house for two nights. In order to ease the boredom for staying in house for 2 days and 2 nights, I planned to bring them for half days trip to Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. 

We depart from my house 4.30 pm and reach Marina Putrajaya Swimming Pool, there is a small beach in front of Marina. The kids is enjoying the sand but the weather is to hot for them. We just stay there around half an hour there and snap few photos.

The second destination is the Brand New Shopping Mall in Cyberjaya - The Pulze. There is a Wai Wai Park for kids below 135 cm for fun. My nieces are very enjoy and play around one hour inside the Wai Wai Park and most important the entry to the Park is temporary free. The kids play like mad and sweat a lot.

After that we depart to Millennium Monument in Precinct 2. Being a tour guide for the half day trip, I told my nieces that we are going to take rocket to space. They are so excited because they never been here before. So we go up to the top deck of Millennium Monument to watch Hot Air Balloon. We didn't take the balloon because the ticket is quite costly. 

After that we headed back to Pullman Hotel and wait for the Musical Fountain. We just in time before the Musical Fountain show start. I guess there is not much promotion on this Musical Fountain because there is only less than 10 people watching the show. The show is around 10 minutes and quite a new and fresh experience for those kids.

After watching the Musical Fountain Show, we head back to home. Before reaching home, I brought my nieces to Mamak Stall near my house for Roti Tissue experience. Those kids really like Roti Tissue as they never have it before. The experience for tearing the Roti Tissue is a fun memory for those kids. 

After that Home Sweet Home !! 

You should bring your family or friends to walk around in Putrajaya! There are a lot of fun activities there. At least enjoying the scenery and magnificent buildings that we had contribute so much through our tax payment !!

Below is the detail explanation of the 5 success factors that quoted from BVOTECH. 

The first factor is Dao 道 which stands for the The Right Way literally. But from his explanation, I feel the use of the word mission, the cause, and the values one belief in are more appropriate translation. All organization must begins and exist with a meaningful mission - the reason for its existence and the value that it brings to the society.

Second is Tian 天  Heaven or Sky + Timing, Seasons or Dimension of Time
Sun Zi explained that the SKY means weather, day or night, cold or hot, seasonal changes. From other parts of his book, I find using trends and timing are appropriate. Chinese traditional teaching on warfare uses 天时地利人和， literally means Heaven-Time, Terrain-Advantages and People's harmonious support.

Third is 地 Earth, Terrain or Position or Dimension of Space
For modern day business, terrain could refers to where the market is. It could be better to use it as the positioning of our offering, with respect to our target market and competitors' offering.

Fourth is 将 Generals, Commanders or Managers or Leaders
Sun Zi tells us the specific qualities to look for in our commanders - wisdom, integrity, compassion, bravery and discipline. Values are to be balanced - we need compassion and compassion must be balanced with disciplined. Intelligence is needed but it must be balanced with integrity. There is nothing more dangerous than talents without integrity.

Sun Zi also gives us the hiring and firing principle - hire those who share the company' 道 Dao, cultures and values (implied by your order and plan) and fire those who do not match the company's culture and values. 

Decisions making are to be based on facts and evaluated objectively. Follow those that bring benefits, increase our posture, gain public support. Sun Zi is against using the company resources to advance one's personal goals and gains. Look for leaders than can put company's and others' interest above their own selfish gains.

Sun Zi also tells us how to allocate authorities according to the strategic contribution of the positions. Giving the right power to the key positions creates strength. We are then left with finding the right people to fill the key positions. How to do that is given on the next factor.

Fifth is 法 Method, Laws + Order
The organization must have openly stated and understood laws and policies on telling people

1. what are the right and wrong things to do. 
2. What is the promotion system and how does one get promoted. 
3. What are the strategic jobs.

A good General must have method to implement any strategy and laws + order in order to win on any situation.

Application To Your Business - 10 Questions for Your Review
With these five factors in mind, can you review your company situation?

1. Consider your company mission, are they meaningful and motivating? 
2. What values are key to accomplishing your mission? 
3. Are those values institutionalized into policies?

A Call That Worth 1 Million Rinngit

I have a friend name Stanley Kong which is an expert in aquaculture of Malaysia's most expensive fresh water fish and fresh water king prawn. My friend is so dedicated and hardworking and pursuing his dream as a "Father of Empurau", "忘不了之父". He is inspired by another Expert from Malaysia that contribute to the world regarding aquaculture of fresh water giant prawn. The Father of Fresh Water Giant Prawn is Ling. S.W. from Malaysia 1962. -- Studies on the rearing of larvae and culturing of adults of M.rosenbergii (de Man).

I was being given a chance/task to handle call those interested to attend my friend's fish agriculture course and high value crops fertigation course. The reason for taking up the task because the mobile phone coverage in the farm area is not good and my friend cant handle the call while he is focusing in the farm daily operation and administration. The reward of helping my friend is he offering sharing of 10% of his course fee from all the course attendants. My task is marking those called in and interested to take the course and arrange the date for the course and follow up on those interested on the agriculture course.

The first student who attend my friend's fish agriculture course actually is a veteran businessman who actually bought the farm from my friend partners. 《3000美金我周游了世界》

I have read this book around 10 years ago. The author is a very creative and calculative man. The character of being calculative make him success in de tour the world.

I am very admire and respect him in the way of planning and execution. In my thought, in everything we handle must have planning and execution.

The author has a dream and due to several events happened on him had triggered him to start on his dream.

The same go with Investment no matter in Bursa or any other investment instruments. Planning and execution is a must.

Last year I went for a course Pattern Trader Tutorial which cost me RM7500. I was hesitated for so long and I brought my friend to attend preview of  Pattern Trader Tutorial. My friend without any investment knowledge showed interest to attend the course and I was influenced by him and signed up the course.

I can see my friend's passion in pursuing success in financial investment. This is what I saw a execution step to success in financial investment. In my future blogs, I will share some of my execution and idea in financial investment - especially in Bursa Malaysia.

The Europe trip that in my dream I am sure one day will realize. But now I am so eagerly to look for another two books from this author.

Cooking - One of My Favourite Hobby

That day I was attending a Brand Building Course in Great Eastern Mall. The trainer Pauline was asking every attendants to self introduction and voice out everyone's hobby.

It is my turn and I mentioned Coin Collecting, Cooking and Badminton. Those ladies was surprising that I can cook. In deed I like cooking very much but just I don't like to do the washing and cleaning up of the mess after cooking.

It has been few years I never invited friends to my house to enjoy my whole heartening dishes.
So I just wrote out few dishes name and write down my tend to invited guests.

The menu sound nice but a lot of preparation and practice of cooking needed for each of the dishes. It is time to revisit wet market and sharpen my cooking knife again.

TVT - Timing , Value , Theme

To all friends investing in Bursa Malaysia, This is a very useful book to enlighten how to make great money if not huge money in Bursa Malaysia.

If you can manage and understand the TVT - Timing, Value and Theme in every minute when you start investing in Bursa. I bet you wont lose money but making a lot money.

I just came across this book this year, I always wonder if I have read this book early.

This counter once I had recommend to some of my friends. Only my manager listen to me and take action to buy this share at RM1.90. I bought the share too but no patience to hold for one year. When I get the dividen and I sold it. My manager is a person who seldom read paper and stury share market. She just think my recommendation is resonable and she follow.

Just around half year time. The share is doing high jump to around RM6.50. The increasing percentage is around 3 to 3.4 times. My manager bought 5000 unit but she sold it around RM4.50.
She also regret to earn less money. But I sold mine around RM3.60 for fear of general election will come soon.

No Patience and fear is the main cause of making less money. This share is a good gem but why I am panic? I should not let general election become my fear. That should be the fear by politicians.

This kind of growing stock become lesser and lesser in Bursa. Once you had found it, hold it and be patience. This is like if you already have gut to hold a pretty lady's hand and  why not hold longer?
Maybe the pretty girl will give you surprise - who know?

Missing Gem that make me regret in 2012 - UMW-CG

I already mentioned that every year there is at least 5 to 10 stocks counter will increase 5 fold and above. But my laziness had causing me lazy to predict and study the counter and lead to miss the chance.

This UMW-CG still is RM0.15 when it launched on last Christmas. The mother share was just around RM6. What actually UMW earn for money? UMW is selling TOYOTA - the best seller foriegn car in Malaysia. UMW also hold 38% for the no 1 local car seller - PERODUA.

When UMW mother share is increase around 66% up to today but the UMW CG already incready increase to near 600 %. If you invest RM 15000 on UMW CG last Christmas and I ll be able to have a very great Christmas. Because RM15000 will become RM88000.

Very regret never study this gem carefully and never predict the prospect of the mother share UMW.

Friend, there is a lot of chance in bursa every year to earn one fold or more. It is just timing and do you have gut to invest and of cos need some luck element.

Worthwhile Study Share No 2 - BOILERMECH

BOILERMECH is listed on ACE market on 2011. I actually know a little of boilers only when I study in university.


Why I recommend to study this share? Because the Majority shareholder is QL Resources and the person who established this company is MR Chia Song Kun. He is a very responsible and always strike for company's benefit and profit.


When we buy a company share we not only buy the business model but most important we buy the characteristics of the Keyman in the company. The Keyman who is highly responsible and always strike for the best for his comnpany and shareholders is the upmost important.


QL resources is one of the share that will convert your RM10000 to RM60000 within ten years. I predict this will also same for Boilermech for capital appreciation pattern.


This share also have some similarity with another prestigious share - CBIP in KLSE. All above is just my prediction only and is not a reference for investment.

Worthwhile Study Share No 1 - AEON CREDIT

This share is already in my investment portfolio but I was thinking is this share worthwhile to invest more?

Yes I managed to find the answer by using history trait or trace from his mother company which is AEON.

Of cos there are many reasons to support me to invest in this share. Let me pointed out all the reason I invest in this share.

First - AEONCREDIT business model is quite blue ocean. He is lending loan for motorcycles purchasing which no one bank willing to do. Imagine how many new motorcycles on the road every year? AEONCREDIT also picking up jobs that most of the bank will rather not touch like second hand car hire purchase. Since there is less competitors and he can charge higher interest.

Imagine how many second hand cars transactions in our country every year.

Second - AEONCREDIT already make profit of 56.58cents for first 3 quarters and it last quater make another 20.0 cents that mean whole year will be 76.58 cents for the whole year and dividend will be around 25 cents. This mean if you buy AEONCREDIT at RM7600 for now and you will possible to get RM25o for dividend. If this compare to bank interest of 3%, RM7600 will only pay you RM228. Of cos we are not focus on the interest part but we are more in capital appreciation factor.

Third - AEONCREDIT is Japanese company that is well managed company. You can see the example of AEON, Maruichi(this company is one of the very best company during Japanese management).

Fourth - AEONCREDIT will possible to announce bonus share issue since the share price is quite high and the shares are not liquid as shareholders for this company not exceeded 3000.

Five - AEONCREDIT is a growth share and he still have a lot of rooms to expand because he is focusing in Malays market. Malays are the majority races in our country and AEONCREDIT already managed to handle business model with Malays especially for loan model for individual. Imagine how many Malays buying motorcycle when they just graduate or come out to work.

Six - With the support from AEON(Jaya Jusco)expansion, AEONCREDIT can attract more customers. AEON expansion is quite progressive and people are accepted their business model nowaday.

For your info, AEONCREDIT share price already doubled since February 2011. But I will still invest in this share if the share price still below RM8.00. Make your own judgement before you invest, this is not advice for you to purchase any share.

My prediction for this share - Capital Appreciation for this share will double within 3 years. That mean if you invest RM7600 in this share and you will get back RM15800 on February 2015. Think about it but of cos no guarantee.
