My Niece No 2.

My eldest sister gave birth to this baby boy on 07/12/2009 which is supposed to come to this world later. His name is Jia Yi 家亿. My brother-in-law said the Chinese character is easy to write so it would torture his son when writing his name.

He is still quite small cause now is breast-feeding by my sister. Anyway his is the 2nd grandson of my parents. So my mother always wanted to hug two babies in one time, I guess few months later, her dream will come true.

莫生气

Lately I am easily get angry. I don't know why, maybe the hot weather or I ate too much chillies. Emotion is the hardest things to control in this world -- I guessed.

But after cooling down, I am thinking a couplet that I saw in a restaurant. The title of the couplet is 莫生气 -- means "Don't Angry".

人生就像一场戏 因为有缘才相聚
相扶到老不容易 是否更该去珍惜
为了小事发脾气 回头想想又何必
别人生气我不气 气出病来无人替

Mentha @ Mint Leave

Mint is one of the plant that must exist in our Spice Garden. My mum get the mint plant from my neighbour. I never thought it is so easy to plant mint. All I need to do is just put the mint leaves into a small hole and cover with soil - that is all. Water the plant and few week later it will become a mature plant.

My mother used to fried the eggs with the mint leave. The dish is full of mint aromatic flavour and it is so refreshing eating it. Another use for the mint leave is making cocktail. Although I never tried before, but the Mojito prepared by my friend is very refreshing and delicious. Another use of mint is preparing the mint sauce for lamb chop.

Maybe I should create a new dish using Mint...

Long Pumpkin

I never saw the long pumpkin before until that day I visited my client. My client is actually an onwer of fertilizer shops. She got this pumpkin from one of the farmer who is her client. So my client just gave this long pumpkin to me.

I felt very grateful to my this client. She was so supportive to me until all her family members get the insurance policies from me. Actually I learn a lot of gardening techniques from my client. She shared the skills on how to put the fertilizer and natural pesticide which is chillies water and garlic water on the plants.

Of cos the long pumpkin was transformed into "Golden Pumpkin Sago Dessert" and "Golden Pumpkin Pao". And of cos my clients was very happy to share the delicacies from my mum and asking the recipe for "Golden Pumpkin Sago Dessert".

I guessed that is one of good mutual interaction between me and my client.

Basil Leaf @ 九層塔

I dont really like basil leaf. But there is plenty of basil plants grow at my backyard.


Basil Leaf is a famous ingredient in Italian cooking. I know one of the Taiwan dish called "Three Cups Chicken" @ 三杯雞 also need to use a lot of basil leaves. The "Three Cups Chicken" is a very easy dish because you just need to put one cup of soy sauce, one cup of white rice wine and one cup of sesame oil into chicken and add the basil leaves for finishing. Although it is a very easy dish but I never try it because I don't really like basil leaves.


But some people like basil leaves very much like my mother as she will use basil leaves to fried eggs. My mother seems quite enjoy to use basil leaves as a cooking ingredient. I have no comment for basil leaves because it is just like durian. The people who like it will like it very much and the people who hate it will hate it very much....

Pandan Leaf

I like Pandan leaves very much for its fragrance and versatile usage. I use the Pandan leaves to cook dessert, Nasi Lemak, Pandan chicken(which is I always failed to make it taste delicious).

I remembered when I was at primary school, I will go to Pandan leaves bushes to catch the fighting spiders. I will put the fighting spiders into a trasparent cassette box and let the spiders fight among themselves.

Anyway, Pandan leaves actually already built up some space in my heart......without acknowledge me.

Banana Tree

Just planted a banana tree at my backyard. My feeling to banana is just like no feeling --- I dont like banana very much but I also never hate it. But I like about banana tree is the banana leaf. I don't know why maybe I like to eat Nasi Lemak which is wrapped by banana leaf.

I used planted several banana trees at my backyard and my mother always cut the leaves from the banana trees. My mother's action had caused the banana trees cannot grow normally as the leaves take time to grow. I even warned my mother not to touch the banana trees that i had planted. She always like to use the banana leaves to serve her home made " Koo Kooi".

My mother still making her Koo Kooi now but I dont know where she got the banana leaves probably from my neighbour. I dont care where she got her banana leaves as long as she didn't cut the leaves from my banana trees.

I dont know why I will become agitated when my mother cut the banana leaves without acknowledge me. Perhaps that is the tree that i put hope into the banana trees to grow well.

Hope is so important? What do you think about hope?

Blood Donation

It had been more than six months since my last blood donation. So I decided to donate blood again and the blood donation location is just next to my University I studied before.

After I filled up the blood donation form, I saw there were 50 peoples already donated their blood. After checking my body weight and having a blood test to identify the blood group and haemoglobin level. After that the medical officer will ask me several questions before I lied down on the sleeping chair.

After I laid down and there was a nurse came and identified my personal data. After that the nurse started to locate a blood vein and sterilized my arm. Here is the part I was not so enjoyable and not dare to look which is the nurse pierce the needle into my arm. After a short pain, the blood start to flow into the blood pack.

While I am waiting the blood pack to be filled up 450ml of my fresh blood, I always closed my eyes and take a light nap. But my mind cannot rest because the nurses on duty were chating and laughing noisily. Then I was looking at all the nurses, I realised all of them are plump in their body shapes.

Of cos I dont have bias on them but I just imagined if there is a pretty nurse serve in the blood donation event, there must be a lot of guys willing to donate thier hot blood. Sometimes I am thinking to write a story about romantic encounter between a blood donor and the pretty nurse. But I just dont know how to start it. Maybe I should go to more blood donation events and observe the scene so I can get more ideas how to write the story.

The small booklet above showed the record of my blood donation. I actually went to donate blood for my own health conciousness. So everytime I quite enjoy blood donation, it is also like I save my blood first and one day I might need to use it.

Anyway, I am planning to donate blood twice a year. Although a normal person can donate blood 4 times every years but I am not going to do that. I dont know why, maybe there is a big gap bewteen reality and imagination. In real world, there will be no pretty nurse apprear on the blood donation event.

Maybe I should write down my imagination in real world......That is the only thing I can do. You should try to donate blood if you are healthy, Maybe you could be the one of character in the Romantic Blood Donation Encounter.

Chillies

I like Chillies very much and I can't remember when I started to like it. What I remembered is I was used to play badminton for betting during my primary school time. Guess what I betting for the badminton game? The answer was Nasi Lemak. These was done by me when I was standard four in primary school. I still remembered I had to let my friend to lead 10 points first in a 15 points game and what I need to do is fight back in order to win the game and the ultimate prize is Nasi Lemak. I can remembered the Nasi Lemak only cost 30 cents per pack and with sotong one is 1 ringgit.

Of cos these was not my idea to win the breakfast but was my coach's idea so each of us will fight full heartedly to win the game. The loser not only need to pay for the breakfast but also need to be punished by physical punishments like frog jumpings, duck walkings, push up, sit up and etc...

So cruel but the fact is my friend who used to lose to me before now play better than me now. Maybe he is keep on playing and training but I need to admit he is really consistent in playing badminton game and always tried to play with strong opponents.

I guessed eating chillies and playing badminton has a common place. You ate chillies and you will request more chillies for the next meal. Eating chillies and you will request the chillies which is in higher degree in hotness. I like chilly padi very much and I request more everytime and prefer the hottest species one. Chillies make you immuned to it and you will gradually eat more so your taste buds will have feelings.

Playing Badminon also the same, you need to play with the player who is stronger than you and only you will improve. Of cos you need to challenge those who are stronger than you so you will able to learn from them. It is just same when you challenge yourself to eat hotter chillies.

Anyway, the chillies trees was planted at my backyard. There are white, red and orange chillies which make the plant looks very colourful. There is another Mexico Chilly at my backyard and somebody said the degree of hotness is 9 /10. Are you dare to try?

种蕃薯叶 @ Planting Sweet Potato Leaves

That day my friend told me that he intends to start growing fruit and vegetables in a vacant land near his house. He asked me a lot of question about growing fruit and vegetables. I am so happy that he treated me like a consultant although I am not. But I am very happy to share my experiences about planting and growing fruits and vegetables behind my backyard to him and invite him to visit my backyard when he is free. So I suggested him to plant sweet potato leaves, mango and hog plums.

This also reminds me that I need to plant more sweet potato leaves in order I can get the crop of sweet potatoes after 4 months. So I start to weed and gather the top soils together in a row and of cos I sweat a lot since this is not an easy work. After that I need to dig several holes and lay the sweet potato vines into the soil.

Now the job is done and the left is waiting. Of cos it is not just waiting, I have to water it, do the weed job and fertilize it. Now suddenly I remember a sentence which is quite true and realistic - Life is waiting.....

Mango Tree

My backyard had another member shifted in which is a Mango Tree. I plant this mango tree because I saw the mango tree at my friend's house in Bangi Lama. The mangoes on the mango tree is counted to hundreds.

The second reason is I like to eat Mango. Especially the mango dessert called 杨枝金露 from Hong Kong and Mango Sticky Rice from Thailand.

The third reason is because the mango tree can bear a profusion of mangoes, in term of economical value, it is worth to be planted. The mangoes can be made to pickles if the fruit is harvest before ripe.

Foot Massage

Recently I did more foot massage to my Mum. I learn foot massage by myself after my Mum and I went to a whole body massage in Sri Petaling.

I learn foot massage by getting a foot reflexology guide book and also browsed some massage book in my university.

I learn foot massage because foot massage is really relaxing and release stress. Of cos I am only the service provider in my house and of cos the person who enjoy much is my Mum. Cos I really enjoy the moment I treat my Mum for the foot massage. Although a bit expensive for the massage service fee but I really enjoy that kind of feel. Like earning a lot of money and enjoy life with my Mum.

After read the guide book and based on my past experience being foot massaged by other people, I start to provide my foot massage service to my Mum and my Mum become my first white mice. Foot massage start by a bottle of Nivea lotion for the purpose of reduce friction between my hand and my mum's foot. I still remember I still need to read the guide book at the first time I massaging my mother's foot.

When time go by, I added a tool which is massage stick. I bought the massage stick from a local market in Thailand. With the massage stick, my fingers and nails can become more relaxing when I do the massage to my mum's thick and dry foot.

Sometimes I just wonder why my mum's foot can become so thick and dry..... She did a lot of things to my family. She has to work, cook and take care of the family. What a great mum in the world. The thick and dry foot is part of the evidence of the hardship to take care of my family and yet she didnt complaint much.

That is the reason why I want to learn foot massage. Just hope that I can provide a relaxing moment for my mum.

Anyway I am glad my mum enjoy the service I provided. Of cos my mum sometimes also provide me back her service --- head massage (where she learn from a shampoo girl) and back massage.

What a wonderful mum ......

Passion Fruit after 3 months

Passion fruit seeds had grown up to become a vine. I planted the vine just near to my kennel 's fence. Hopefully the vine will become natural wall to my dog's kennel.

Coin Collections

Here are part of my coin collections since 1999. I have this hobby because of my uncle. He is the one showed me his coin collections and I was so excited and gradually collecting coin become one of my hobby.

I still remembered that I took KTM train to Bank Negara Malaysia to buy most of my collections. I have to figure how to earn money to increase my collections. I was so excited every time I came back from Bank Negara because my coin collections was added new members.

One of the reason I collected these coins is value appreciation. Actually this reason is not so significant because I actually reluctant to sell my collections. Because some of the collections was not so easily obtained. I still remembered I was squeeze like sardine when I took KTM train to Bank Negara in the early morning to buy the limited commemorative coin set. I always thinking I am one of the person who possess the limited coin sets. For the coin set in picture of the top is limited to 100 sets in Malaysia for LIMA event in Langkawi. For the coin set in 3rd picture is to commemorate NAM 2003 in Malaysia and only 300 sets exist in this world.

Although I am not so keen to increase my coin collections now but I will still looking forward our BNM will issue some valuable commemorative coin set in future. And some of my friends also ask me to remind them if there is rare and valuable coin sets issue from BNM...... that is the only way I feel proud of......

Photo Album

I was looking at my electronic photo album since electronic album had replaced the traditional physical album that usually keep photos. Here are two photos that remind me how lucky I am.

My mother cooked me a bowl of "mian xian" and this is traditional practice for Chinese. There is an egg in the mian xian. Actually I don't really like to eat mian xian but this full bowl of mian xian is my Lovely Mum's xing yi. I finished all with a very grateful heart. Sometimes I am thinking my birthday is actually the day that mother suffered labour pain in the hospital. I should celebrate the day for my Mum. I can say my Mum is really a woman stand behind me in whatever situation. Thanx God that you let me have a wonderful Mum.

The two red packets or Ang Pau are blessings from my Mum. One is for Chinese New Year and one is for my birthday. Really a Great Mum!!

First of all, I like to thank my manager who lend me this a little bit old book. My manager told me this is not her book but this book was given by one nice person to her. This book was written by Krisana Kritmanorote.

I like this book because the author shared a lot of himself. There are many powerful quotes in this book is another reason why I like this book so much. For Example,

Paintball @ Pain ball

I woke up from my bed reluctantly cause my handphone clock showed 5.45 am. I was not sleep very well that night and I dont know why. After packing T-shirt and water into my bag, I drive my car to my friend's house to fetch him to meet another two friends in Kuchai Lama.

Luckily the breakfast is nice cause everyone actually expected to sleep well in Saturday morning. Our breakfast is Dim Sum at Foo Lai Restaurant at Kuchai Lama. The Dim Sum here is 10 times more delicious than in Kajang one.

After that, we are heading to Extreme Park at Shah Alam so called our battle field. Since none of us have experience playing Paintball before, we are quite nervous, excited and a lot of mixed feeling.

After the Paintball Game Master explained everything about the Paintball game to us and we started to head to battle field. Our Paintball game is called Capture Flag. That mean there is a Flag will be standing in the middle of the battle field. The ultimate victory is belong to the team managed to get the flag and bring it back to their base.

Without any experience, so we started off the game in mixed feeling. To tell the truth, I am the first one who was expel from the battle field. I also cant believe myself is so water skin @ 水皮. I was shoot after 3 minutes the game started. I was shoot by a paint bullet under my pit arm and of cause was a bruise feeling. The first game I can said I only stand outside the field and watched my teammate fired to the enemy team. Of cause without me, my team losed. No lah the actual reason we losed is we dont know the strategy of Paintball game.

The second game, our enemy team was totally lost of luck because my team gradually understand the strategy. We also very cooperative and united. I can said my teammate Hao Bin is the most courageous and bravest in the team. But although he is the warrior of the team but he still sacrificed in the game because he also shoot by the paint bullet. After Hao Bin's sacrifice, so I managed to bring back the flag to our base. So we were draw with enemy team 1-1.

The third game, since our team already managed the skills and strategies for the game so without telling story. You can guess the winner is belong to who. Yes we won again on the third game.

Since we still left some paint bullets so we decided to play another round of game but this time we played All to died meaning we must shoot enemy team until everyone in the team get shoot. Luckily I was in the team with one of the bravest guy in the game. This guy is like from SDU(Special Duty Unit). Again without much elaboration, my team won again. Thanx to the SDU guys.

After one hour plus in the jungle, so we come out with great shooting experience. These Paintball games only cost us RM 26.60. Why so cheap because my friend got RM 100 voucher from Eco Challenge.

After washing and taking bath, we headed to a shop in Glenmarie to enjoy our early lunch. My friend suggested this shop because of his famous Glass Char Siew @ 玻璃叉烧 and Chinese roasted sausage. This shop is really famous and Ah Xian @ 阿贤 had visited this shop before and we can see people are queuing for the Char Siew.

After finished our lunch, we headed back to another K.L.(Kuchai Lama) with Paintball game experience.

Jerry and Poppy

This my dog Xiao Hei 小黑 or Blackiee in meaning. I like dogs but 小黑 is not that close to me. Maybe she is staying outside my house and we dont have much interaction.

I still missed my lovely dog which is Jerry. I can say she was the best dog I ever had before. She seems understand when I talk to her. And she likes to kiss me. I remember when Jerry was young and she like to follow anybody. One day she didnt come back and I was felt like missing something. So lucky we managed to find her at the bus stop outside my Taman.

I like Jerry so much is because she is an intelligent dog. She can shake hand, lie down, pick back the stick I throw out and etc. And she also very famous among my neighbourhood, my neighbour always gave her some meat to eat. And she become mother two times in her whole life...

Poppy is Jerry's son. I dont have Poppy image here cos last time the photo is taken by traditional camera. My poor Poppy is only live in this world around one month only. He was knocked down by a car when I was in orientation week in my university. I missed him very much because he is very cute. He is also a special creation of Jerry and another lovely dog in my neighbourhood Xiao Bai 小白. Jerry and Xiao Bai have a very romantic love story. I can say their behaviors are just like man and woman.

Now I only can reminisce Jerry and Poppy when I look at my photo album....Anyway hope they will live happily in another Peaceful Land...

My Niece

My niece Qian Qian or 钱钱 or actually 谦谦 but we prefer to call him the name with meaning of money money. He is my sister's first son.

Qian Qian actually bring a lot of joy to our family. Now he gradually can sit and can laugh. He always mumbling and I always wonder what he actually want to say.

Qian Qian now is 4 months old but his weight is 9 kg which is consider overweight. But who care as he looks cute and chubby and everyone like him.
